In the shower…
I remembered Raymond T. Hauger from a short clip and envisioned him as The Flamingo for a music video. I also realized that creating a behind-the-scenes video, inspired by MTV's "Making The Video," could make the project more interesting given the declining traditional music video format. With Raymond's agreement and Martin's trust, the project was approved.
Content With Content
Artists and labels often request last-minute content for social media, typically 15-second snippets. This time, we've flipped the approach, using these short pieces to build The Flamingo universe while also serving as standalone 15-30 second teasers. Our promo schedule defies the need for simultaneous releases; music, video, trailer, and teasers follow their own sequence. Order matters less, as online content consumption mirrors life—pieces are plucked from the digital stream at random.
